Edelrid ALIAS

ALIAS – a harness carabiner that impresses with its low weight, high strength, and technical design. Manufactured using a special hot forging process, it achieves maximum strength with minimum weight. At only 58 g, it is the lightest of its kind. Thanks to its specific “backbone” shape, the carabiner ensures optimal power transmission and load absorption. In addition, the distinctive double S-shaped curvature prevents the carabiner from twisting. The Twist Lock safety mechanism, a simple twist mechanism, has proven to be safe and extremely practical in use and is therefore very popular. In combination with the Key Lock nose, the ALIAS offers the best possible, comfortable handling when attaching and detaching the shoulder straps and prevents you from getting caught during operation. The extra-large opening angle of 12 mm makes it easier to thread and pick up the harness. In addition, the dimensions allow universal application for harnesses from 20 mm to 40 mm. Each carabiner back has a unique serial number, which ensures complete traceability. Custom laser engraving can be added to the wide vertical axis of the carabiner upon request and consultation.
